10 months

One of Madeleine's favourite pastimes these days is pulling all the books off of the shelves. She very rarely has the patience to sit and listen to an entire book being read, but several times a day she crawls over to the shelf with great enthusiasm, pulls the books off, and then spends awhile looking at different covers, and talking to herself the whole time. Fortunately we have another bookshelf with higher shelves, and that's where all of Daddy's telescope and optics books live, safely out of reach from little M.
Madeleine received several early birthday treats this week including cute bicycle pants from my parents, and a fun new walker/ride on toy from Auntie Henrietta! Thank you!!

  1. We love the expression on her face as she's at the empty bookshelf! But I can't believe her HUGE bum! Someday in the future she'll look and this and say, "Mom, what kind of diapers did you put on me??"

How did Hen get the cute toy to you? Madeleine sure looks tickled with it!

  2. I know, her bum really does look ridiculously huge here... at least this is just an "at home" outfit. Well, at home and blog... poor girl.
Hen ordered the toy from the Warehouse and had it delivered to us!
